Welcome

Hello everyone!  

My name is Mrs. Wilkerson, and I am so excited to be your new Reading and Language Arts teacher. Middle school is such an important time to discover who you are as a reader, a writer, and a thinker, and I can’t wait to take this journey with you. 

In our class, we’ll explore stories that inspire us, practice writing that helps us find our voice, and build the skills you’ll carry with you for years to come. My hope is that every student feels welcome, encouraged, and challenged to grow. 

I truly believe in the power of one—one book, one story, one idea, or even one voice can make a big difference! I can’t wait to see the difference each of you will make in our classroom this year!
